long journey

For approximately 9 years, this story has been on my brain. I've gone through 4 different manuscripts before writing and finishing the novel in my senior year of high school. I've recently been rewriting the novel (adding in scenes that should've been there from the start and maturing the characters). After I've finished writing Part 2, I'm very content. There's this satisfaction that comes from many years of writing/rewriting/critiquing. I'm so much closer to having the novel ended (and just how I like it too) and a possible self-publication. *fingers crossed*

The manual for work is also complete (for now). I've been staring at the PDF version at work whenever I get a chance. I'm so proud of that piece of work. So proud that I've made it this far. It gives me hope that I can overcome any obstacles in the days ahead of me.
